Networking and corruption

Most of these companies who suppress free speech work for big corporates . They are well connected and use their influence to get the law modified to suit their purpose.

Human nature is the same everywhere and so is corruption and cronyism.

As a Malaysian minister said, " In Asian countries it is called nepotism, in Western countries it is called networking."
